About the Founder
I’m Roselin Nhira, a Data Science and Business major at Warren Wilson College, and the
founder of uSWAP.
I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where community and skill-sharing are a way of life. When I moved across the world to study at Warren Wilson College, I found a campus that reflected those same values — collaboration, care, and learning through doing. At the same time, I noticed many students needed help building skills or completing projects, but faced financial, time, or access barriers.
uSWAP grew from the belief that money shouldn’t limit learning or connection. I created it as a campus-centered platform where students can exchange skills fairly, ethically, and safely while supporting one another’s growth.
